Job summary

Reworld seeks a Waste Processing Technician I to join the Sustainable Site Solutions division. You will collect and process waste from client facilities, operate forklifts, balers, and compactors, and follow PM procedures while prioritizing safety.

You will support daily operations, handle various waste streams, and ensure adherence to Reworld Values and Behaviors including Safe and Inclusive Workplace and delivering results through trust.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Demonstrate safety values and inclusive workplace.
• Proficient in NetSuite and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or per vendor specs.
• General housekeeping and area maintenance.
• Maintain preventative maintenance records for equipment.
• Load/Unload of trailers and/or flat beds.
• Manage collection points within a client facility.
• Demonstrate alignment with Reworld Values and Behaviors.
• Interact with plant personnel to determine local needs.
