Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC in New York is seeking an entry-level Waste Processing Technician I to safely operate heavy equipment, sample and process waste according to vendor specifications. You will assist with material handling, housekeeping, and data entry while following safety practices.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year shipping/receiving experience, forklift proficiency, and ability to pass a respirator fit test. Proficiency with NetSuite and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED preferred; GED Works program offered.
• 1+ year of experience in shipping/receiving environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Able to pass respirator fit test.
• Experience using NetSuite and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as fork trucks, balers, compactors, etc.
• Process waste materials into like commodities or per vendor specifications.
• General housekeeping for the work area.
• Preventative Maintenance paperwork for equipment.
• Loading/Unloading of van trailers and/or flat beds.
• Manage collection points within our facility.
