Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Waste Processing Supervisor to oversee receipt and processing of wastes, ensuring safety, accuracy, and on-time delivery. You will manage staff, training, and cross-site communications while maintaining compliance with federal and local regulations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in environmental/hazardous waste operations, knowledge of RCRA/DoT rules, and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive environmental/hazardous waste management experience in an operations role.
• Knowledge of RCRA and DoT regulations for waste transport and processing.
• Understanding of waste profiling and inventory tracking.
• DEA background check when relevant and regulatory compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facility management, documentation, and cross-site coordination.
• Administer pickups/deliveries and resolve customer issues per requirements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local permits and safety policies.
• Train and manage staff, promote safety, and lead team performance.
