Job summary

Veolia in North America is a leading environmental services company seeking a supervisor to oversee field teams in hazardous and non-hazardous waste operations. The role ensures compliance with regulations, guides training, and supports project estimates and contract prep.

The candidate will manage staffing, safety, and equipment to deliver safe, compliant service; required BS in Chemistry or related science, 5–7 years waste experience, and 1–2 years supervision.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or BA in a related science discipline or equivalent work experience required
• 5 to 7 years of hazardous waste experience required
• 1 to 2 years of supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises field teams, including hiring and disciplinary actions
• Complies with applicable governmental regulations and VES-TS policies and procedures
• Recognizes opportunities to increase value-added services for customers
• Maintains professional image by addressing inquiries and proposing solutions
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and procedural requirements
• Oversees completion of DOT/EPA and VES-TS paperwork
• Ensures mandatory training per OSHA and refresher courses
• Oversees operation and maintenance of equipment for efficiency
