Job summary

The Plant Associate at WM will ensure all waste is unloaded from vehicles, the vehicles are decontaminated, and waste is properly staged for scanning and processing. The individual will perform the duties in a safe and productive manner.

Essential duties include unloading waste, staging for scanning, Biotrack recordkeeping, load and decontaminate, and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area. This role is safety sensitive with potential drug/alcohol testing as per policy.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience, preferably in plant environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow health and safety directives and procedures.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste.
• Stage waste for scanning and processing in the Biotrack system.
• Scan waste into Biotrack for recordkeeping.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper for processing.
• Decontaminate vehicle cargo-carrying portion and ensure no spills.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety, reporting hazards as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
