Job summary

WM (Waste Management) is hiring for a Plant Associate to unload waste, decontaminate vehicles, and stage waste for scanning. The role emphasizes safety and efficient workflow within a plant environment.

The successful candidate will load waste into processing systems, operate tub wash equipment, and ensure proper recordkeeping in Biotrack, with on-site work in a garage, shop or plant setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience, preferably in a plant environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and performance and conduct standards, policies and procedures that apply to the role and location.

Responsibilities

• Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration.
• Stage waste on conveyor system or stack waste for scanning in Biotrack system.
• Scan waste into Biotrack for proper recordkeeping.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper with waste for processing.
• Place reusable containers on tub wash line for decontamination.
• Operate tub wash unit and inspect tubs for loading onto vehicles.
• Operate tub wash sprayer for oversized tubs and ensure proper loading.
• Decontaminate vehicle cargo area and ensure floor is dry and clean.
• Address housekeeping issues immediately and perform other duties as assigned.
