Job summary

WM is seeking a Plant Associate to unload waste, decontaminate vehicles, and stage waste for scanning. You will handle autoclave/incinerator loading, run tub wash operations, and ensure proper safety and housekeeping throughout the shift.

This on-site role offers a 5:00am–1:30pm schedule, Mon-Fri, with potential overtime. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in a plant setting and can follow health and safety directives; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a plant environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload waste from incoming vehicles and separate non-autoclavable waste for incineration.
• Stage waste on conveyor or stack for scanning in Biotrack system.
• Scan waste into Biotrack for recordkeeping.
• Load autoclave bins or incinerator hopper with waste.
• Place reusable containers on tub wash line for decontamination.
• Operate tub wash unit and ensure proper loading of tubs for reuse.
• Operate tub wash sprayer for oversized tubs.
• Decontaminate vehicle cargo area and ensure no liquid spills.
• Ensure housekeeping is maintained and spills are cleaned promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
