Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload solid and liquid waste and recyclables safely.
• Move materials to and from trucks and within the facility using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklift attachments.
• Operate equipment such as balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks and pressure washers.
• Sort materials according to pre-established guidelines for further processing.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Adhere to EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned to support operations.
