Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently process inbound materials and refuse through its industrial disposal process. The role involves operating forklifts and heavy equipment as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include weighing, labeling, and preparing containers, maintaining good housekeeping, and assisting with equipment repairs. A 12-hour rotating shift, weekends, and holidays are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 1 year experience operating industrial equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process inbound materials using forklifts, track hoes, skid steers, and other equipment.
• Weigh, unpack, and label containers as needed.
• Safely operate equipment to consolidate dumped refuse on the tipping floor.
• Follow housekeeping practices at all facilities and work areas.
• Assist with exterior site maintenance including litter collection, painting, snow removal and ice prevention.
• Control traffic for inbound/outbound loads at the site.
• Assist facility mechanics with equipment repairs.
• Perform additional duties to ensure safe and efficient operations.
