Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks a Project Manager in the Waste Management Practice for our Charlotte, NC office.

You will lead planning, permitting, design, and site development of integrated solid waste facilities, managing multidisciplinary teams for local government and private clients. As an employee-owner, you’ll oversee project execution from concept through construction, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction while collaborating with other CEC

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software.
• Ability to nurture existing clients and develop business.

Responsibilities

• Lead solid waste and site development projects from proposal through construction, overseeing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Direct planning, permitting, and design of integrated solid waste facilities.
• Ensure deliverables meet regulatory and client requirements through QA/QC reviews.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams across project phases.
• Prepare proposals and support business development to grow client relationships.
