Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking an Engineering Project Manager in our Monroeville, PA office to lead design, analysis, permitting, and documentation for waste disposal facilities.

You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and local officials, mentor junior staff, and guide projects from concept through construction and regulatory review. The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and expertise in landfills, CCR, and industrial waste projects; sign-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years designing, permitting, and QA for waste facilities.
• PE license or ability to obtain PA licensure.
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proposal/report writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis, permitting, and construction-phase services for waste management facilities.
• Oversee landfill system design including liners, leachate, gas collection, roads, and structures.
• Prepare permit applications, design reports, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate agency reviews; mentor junior staff.
• Assist engineering team with site development and geotechnical projects.
