Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Civil Engineering Assistant Project Manager in its Pittsburgh office to support waste facilities projects from planning through permitting and construction administration.

You will lead tasks, supervise staff, review reports, and design stormwater, leachate and landfill gas systems while coordinating with clients and regulators. As you grow, you will take on budgeting, scheduling, and staff development responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years professional engineering experience.
• P.E. license preferred or to obtain in near future.
• Experience with HELP Model, HydroCAD, Slide, KYPipe, and AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading projects through all phases of development from planning and design through permitting, construction administration, and final certification.
• Perform engineering tasks and oversee project staff in engineering assignments.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and state regulatory officials while supporting successful project execution.
• Deliver high-quality client service and contribute to budgeting and scheduling as experience grows.
