Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Solid Waste Engineer - Assistant Project Manager in Pittsburgh.

You will support waste facility projects through planning, design, permitting, construction administration, and final certification, leading tasks with a skilled team. Responsibilities include preparing reports, designing stormwater, leachate, and landfill gas systems, and collaborating with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years professional engineering experience.
• Professional Engineering License (P.E.) preferred, or plan to obtain soon.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• Experience with HELP Model, HydroCAD, Slide, KYPipe, AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support management of waste facilities projects through all development phases.
• Prepare and review technical reports, designs, and specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
• Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and staff development as experience grows.
