Job summary

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. is seeking a Helper to support driver routes and deliver outstanding customer service. The role involves lifting containers, loading waste and recycling, and assisting with safe, efficient route execution.

You will operate hoists, manage bagging and bin placement, and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to health and safety protocols. A HS diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and work in varied weather conditions.
• Pre-employment drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers to complete routes and provide excellent customer service.
• Load/unload containers into trucks and maneuver them for service.
• Operate hoisting device to lift and empty bins into hopper.
• Return serviced bins to original positions with covers in place.
• Maintains safety and professionalism with customers and coworkers.
• Participate in training and company initiatives to support goals.
