Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Environmental Compliance professional to own regulated waste compliance projects and audits across multiple sites. You will lead risk assessments, document findings, and drive corrective actions while partnering with site teams and compliance operations.

Travel up to 50% is expected. The role requires a Bachelor's in EHS or related field with 2+ years of experience in environmental compliance and waste management; RCRA/DOT knowledge is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in environmental compliance, regulated waste management, or workplace risk investigations.
• Experience interpreting and applying environmental regulations (RCRA, DOT, and applicable state hazardous waste rules).
• Experience collecting and analyzing data to identify compliance gaps and drive corrective actions.

Mansioni

• Own the execution and delivery of regulated waste compliance projects and activities, including developing SOPs, workflows, and inspection routines.
• Apply risk management methods such as waste compliance audits and site inspections to monitor compliance thresholds, test controls, and take corrective action when findings arise.
• Collaborate with site teams, compliance operations, and operations partners to understand business needs, clarify waste compliance requirements, and drive productive discussions that build consensus.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with process owners to improve conformance, reduce risk, and increase operational efficiency.
• Prepare clear and concise documentation, including status reports, audit results, metrics, and project communications.
• Travel expected up to 50% of the time.
