Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of solid waste/recycling methods and safety practices.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual shift equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently drive and operate all required equipment.
• Interact with the public in a respectful and courteous manner.
• Achieve and maintain established route and task standards.
• Assist co-workers to expedite operations and perform other duties on route.
• Clean and wash equipment daily and perform vehicle inspections.
• Transmit information via radio or telephone.
• Maintain records and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Notify supervisor of accidents or vehicle issues immediately.
