Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is hiring for a loading/unloading role in Lyman, SC. This full-time position involves moving products and materials within the plant, with 1st and 3rd shift options and pay of $22.29/hour plus a 10% shift differential for 3rd shift.

You will handle finishing tasks, logs, and ISO-compliant paperwork daily. The role requires safety-conscious, reliable team members who can follow instructions, communicate clearly, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to perform loading/unloading and material movement per instruction.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.
• Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and company safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, band, and put up finished goods daily.
• Maintain daily receiving log and related paperwork.
• Comply with ISO Quality and Work Instructions and safety rules.
• Assess tasks for safety and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Expand on duties as needed during interview process.

About the Role

Ability to perform all tasks listed above to the Company’s expectations. Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis. Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions. Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal. Ability to communicate with all Company employees in a businesslike and professional manner. Ability to appropriately handle stress and interact with others.

Weigh, band, and put up finished goods daily. Maintain daily receiving log. Maintain paperwork required for the job. Must comply with all current ISO Quality and Work Instructions for job, all Company Safety rules, and all other Company rules, policies and procedures. Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices. Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.
