Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking a 1st shift assembler to support the assembly process, inventory stocking, parts pulling, testing, and packing. The role includes wash/prep/paint, shipping/receiving, and general cleanup.

Pay is $20.27/hr with a 10% shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Benefits start DAY ONE, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) with company match, and more.

About the Role

Basic Purpose: This 1st Shift position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is parts pulling.

Pay: $20.27/hr. Shift: 1st shift.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with continuous interruptions. Must have good oral and written communication and organizational skills. Ability to follow instructions, written and verbal. Must be able to safely move material to and from workstation using fork truck or overhead crane. Ability to perform physical activity associated with operation of equipment including bending, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching in order to meet production needs. Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 lbs. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and move continuously during working hours.

• Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.


• Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area.


• Monitor the work area for cleanliness.


• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop.
