Betenbough Homes seeks a Warranty Technician to diagnose concerns, coordinate repairs, and ensure homeowners feel heard after moving into a Betenbough home. You will manage schedules, work orders, and trade partner coordination while delivering quality workmanship.
This field-based role emphasizes hands-on repairs, proactive communication, and building trust with homeowners and trades. A strong mechanical aptitude and customer-service mindset are essential.
Owning a home is a big deal, and when something needs attention, homeowners want to know they have someone they can count on.
As a Warranty Technician, you’ll be one of the primary people homeowners interact with after they move into their Betenbough home. You’ll help diagnose concerns, coordinate solutions, complete repairs, and make sure homeowners feel heard and cared for throughout the process.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, managing their own day, and building trust with people.
Taking care of homeowners — Respond to warranty needs with professionalism, empathy, and a genuine desire to help. You'll communicate proactively, set clear expectations, and follow through on commitments.
Diagnosing and solving problems — Inspect warranty concerns, determine what needs to happen next, and complete repairs or coordinate with the appropriate trade partner to find a solution.
Owning your schedule — Manage work orders, appointments, supplies, deliveries, and trade partner schedules using company-provided systems and technology. You'll need to balance changing priorities while keeping commitments moving forward.
Completing quality work — Perform assigned warranty repairs and inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and established tolerances.
Partnering with our trades — Work directly with trade partners to communicate expectations, solve problems, coordinate repairs, and ensure work is completed well.
Staying one step ahead — Anticipate what homeowners, trade partners, and teammates may need next and take initiative to keep work moving rather than waiting to be asked.
Enjoy helping people and can remain calm, patient, and solution-focused when someone is frustrated or concerned.
Communicate clearly and naturally build trust with different personalities.
Take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through without needing someone to continually remind you.
Can organize a busy day, prioritize competing needs, and adjust when plans change.
Notice details and care about leaving a job completely finished rather than simply checking it off the list.
Enjoy troubleshooting and figuring out practical solutions.
Are comfortable having respectful, direct conversations when expectations aren't being met.
Look for ways to help beyond the immediate task in front of you.
Represent your team well through professionalism, reliability, and the way you treat people.
Enjoy hands-on work and have a natural mechanical inclination.
