Job summary

Allbritten, The Barefoot Plumber seeks an Install Warranty Technician to address warranty issues with residential HVAC systems for customers in the Fresno area. You will inform clients of promotions, schedule visits, and apply skills learned in training to diagnose and resolve problems.

This role emphasizes strong troubleshooting, customer service, and safe, professional interaction in customers' homes. A valid driver’s license is required, with NATE/EPA certifications considered a plus, and

• 3+ years of experience in residential HVAC preferred.
• 5+ years of experience retail sales.
• NATE/EPA certification is a plus.

Install Warranty Technician is responsible for working with Install clients that have warranty issues arise from time to time.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inform customers of all special promotions.
• Refine communication skills and improve customer satisfaction processes.
• Participate in training as requested.
• Keep appointments with customers as scheduled.
• Must demonstrate field level application of knowledge and skills attained from all training provided.

REQUIRED Skills AND Desired Skills

• Superior troubleshooting/diagnostic and repair skills for residential & light commercial equipment
• Comfortable working directly with consumers in their home
• NATE and EPA Certification is a PLUS
• Ability to use Company-furnished technology
• Valid driver's license
• Detailed and Goal orientated with a strong desire to succeed
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Good writing skills

Education & Experience

• 3+ years of experience in residential HVAC preferred
• 5+ years’ experience retail sales

Physical Demands

• Must be physically able to lift, lower, push, and pull objects of up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time.
• Ability to handle and climb ladders and to be able to navigate roof tops and tight spaces

• Office/Field
• While performing the duties of this job, the Warranty Technician will be exposed to:
• Varies weather conditions, dust/debris, and confining areas of a home for short period of time

WORK SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday; Starting time varies from 8:00AM – 6:30PM
