Job summary

Jenkins Plumbing Company is seeking an experienced Warranty Technician to handle warranty repairs, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely service to homeowners and builders. You will diagnose plumbing problems, perform repairs on water lines, drains, fixtures and appliances, communicate clearly with customers, and document all work to ensure first-time resolution.

Qualifications

• Previous plumbing experience required.
• Residential plumbing service or warranty experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems independently.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ability to read and understand basic construction plans and job documentation.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Respond to warranty service calls and assigned repair requests.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine the appropriate repair or resolution.
• Complete warranty repairs accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
• Inspect plumbing systems, fixtures, and installations to identify concerns.
• Perform repairs involving water lines, drains, fixtures, faucets, toilets, disposals, and other residential plumbing components.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners, builders, supervisors, and office staff regarding service needs and completed work.
• Document completed repairs and provide accurate service notes.
• Identify installation or workmanship concerns and report recurring issues to management.
• Maintain assigned tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good working condition.
• Keep required materials and commonly used parts organized and stocked.
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable plumbing codes.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous customer service.
• Manage assigned service calls and daily workload efficiently.
• Assist with punch-list items and other field service needs as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
