Job summary

Mitsubishi Power seeks a Warranty Program Associate to support PRM & Warranty activities, claim management, risk tracking, and process improvements. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Finance to resolve warranty issues efficiently and improve data quality.

The role involves data analysis, KPI reporting, and documenting corrective actions. A BS in a technical field and hands-on BI tool experience are preferred, with opportunities in a growing energy technology environment.

Qualifications

  • Current college undergraduate pursuing a BS in a technical discipline (Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Administration).
  • Results- and team-oriented; strong collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, SAP, SharePoint, Power Automate, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Warranty Claim Administration: support intake, tracking, and closure of claims.
  • Risk & Issue Management: maintain risk registers and identify trends.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: support KPI tracking and dashboards.
  • Continuous Improvement: participate in RCA activities and improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Documentation & Compliance: maintain records and develop procedures.

Role Overview

The Warranty Program Associate supports PGS Parts Risk Management (PRM) & Warranty team in the execution of warranty-related projects, claim management activities, risk tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with Warranty, Engineering, Operations, Parts, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to help drive timely resolution of warranty issues, improve process effectiveness, and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Warranty Claim Administration
  • Support the intake, tracking, and closure of warranty claims.
  • Ensure claim documentation is complete and properly maintained.
  • Assist with monitoring claim status and escalation of overdue actions.
  • Support warranty cost tracking and reporting activities.
Risk & Issue Management
  • Support maintenance of warranty risk registers and tracking tools.
  • Assist in identifying trends and recurring failure patterns.
  • Support development of mitigation and corrective action plans.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Support KPI tracking and development reporting dashboards (Power Bi/ others).
  • Help analyze warranty data to identify trends, cost drivers, and performance indicators.
Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and lessons learned reviews.
  • Support in validating implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist with process mapping and workflow improvements.
  • Recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Attend project meetings and document meeting minutes and action items.
  • Support communication between internal stakeholders and project teams.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure project records and warranty documentation are properly maintained.
  • Assist with development and revision of procedures, work instructions, and templates.
Requirement
  • College undergraduate pursuingBachelor's degree (BS) in a technical discipline Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Administration from a four-year College or University.
  • Must be results oriented and team oriented. Individual must be a complete TEAM PLAYER.
  • Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Hands on experience with Power BI, SAP, SharePoint, Power Automate, or Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
