Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Warranty Program Associate to support PGS Parts Risk Management and Warranty teams in warranty project execution, claim management, risk tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Parts, Supply Chain, and Finance to drive timely resolutions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in a technical field (Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Administration) at a four-year college or university.
• Results- and team-oriented; must be a team player.
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions from technical instructions.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SAP, SharePoint, Power Automate, or Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.

Responsibilities

• Warranty Claim Administration: support intake, tracking, and closure of claims and maintain documentation.
• Risk & Issue Management: maintain risk registers and identify trends; assist with mitigation plans.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: track KPIs and develop dashboards (Power BI/others) and analyze warranty data.
• Continuous Improvement: participate in RCA, validate corrective actions, and map workflows.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance; attend meetings and document actions.
• Documentation & Compliance: maintain project records and assist with procedures and templates.

Role Overview

The Warranty Program Associate supports PGS Parts Risk Management (PRM) & Warranty team in the execution of warranty-related projects, claim management activities, risk tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with Warranty, Engineering, Operations, Parts, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to help drive timely resolution of warranty issues, improve process effectiveness, and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Warranty Claim Administration

• Support the intake, tracking, and closure of warranty claims.
• Ensure claim documentation is complete and properly maintained.
• Assist with monitoring claim status and escalation of overdue actions.
• Support warranty cost tracking and reporting activities.

Risk & Issue Management

• Support maintenance of warranty risk registers and tracking tools.
• Assist in identifying trends and recurring failure patterns.
• Support development of mitigation and corrective action plans.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Support KPI tracking and development reporting dashboards (Power Bi/ others).
• Help analyze warranty data to identify trends, cost drivers, and performance indicators.

Continuous Improvement

• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities and lessons learned reviews.
• Support in validating implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist with process mapping and workflow improvements.
• Recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
• Attend project meetings and document meeting minutes and action items.
• Support communication between internal stakeholders and project teams.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure project records and warranty documentation are properly maintained.
• Assist with development and revision of procedures, work instructions, and templates.

Requirement

• College undergraduate pursuing Bachelor's degree (BS) in a technical discipline Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business Administration from a four-year College or University.
• Must be results oriented and team oriented. Individual must be a complete TEAM PLAYER.
• Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Hands on experience with Power BI, SAP, SharePoint, Power Automate, or Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
