Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles, part of Terex Corporation, is seeking a Warranty Analyst to analyze, review, and process warranty claims. You will liaise with staff, suppliers, and OEMs while proactively meeting business expectations.

The role reports to the Quality Department Manager and involves working with finance to verify charges, processing warranty claims, and generating reports for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or 2+ years' experience in Project Management, Product Management, Quality, Warranty, and/or Engineering or related business experience.
• Associate degree in Technology or 2 years in manufacturing/parts sales environment (preferred).
• Must demonstrate high ethics and ownership within a cooperative team environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Hands-on, organized, analytical design capabilities with market-based initiative.

Responsibilities

• Review and adjudicate warranty claims using warranty software.
• Coordinate with finance to verify warranty charges and vehicle registration data.
• Manage warranty operations to ensure timely processing and adherence to guidelines.
• Create warranty reports and trend analyses for improvement actions.
• Handle recalls from supplier to end user (NIST and FMVSS).
• Participate in cross-functional teams to mitigate warranty issues.
• Maintain records of all claims and their status.
• Coordinate Quality Alert and Quality Verification with management.
• Arrange RMAs with vendors for labor credits and defective parts returns.
• Oversee shipping of warranty replacement parts to dealers and repair facilities.
