Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus seeks a Warranty Supervisor to lead warranty management, field quality, and cost reduction across Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Customer-facing teams.

You will analyze warranty data, manage 8Ds, drive actions to reduce exposure, and collaborate with customers to resolve claims while building a proactive warranty culture and governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive quality, warranty, or related technical function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and 8D.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, CQI-14 and VDA Warranty requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant warranty management process and ensure effective execution of corporate, customer, and site warranty requirements.
• Analyze warranty claims, field failures, service data, teardown results, and warranty databases to identify emerging risks and repeat failure patterns.
• Drive reduction of warranty incidents / R/1000, repeat failures, and current or future customer field exposure.
• Facilitate warranty review meetings and communicate risks, trends, and performance updates to plant leadership and regional or global warranty forums.
• Develop front-end warranty projections for inclusion in the RSM early in program based on similar products’ performance.
