Job summary

BorgWarner Arden campus seeks a 2nd Shift Team Leader (D3/D7) to organize and lead the manufacturing function in a high‑volume automotive production line. You will ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets while coordinating with the scheduling group and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires at least 3 years in manufacturing, leadership experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Strong priority and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to motivate with fairness and respect.
• Decision-making and multitasking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and meet daily production schedules as guided by the scheduling group.
• Set up and changeover machinery with the help of team members.
• Quality checks and testing of assembled components at end of line assembly.
• Identify proper tooling and understand machinery for quality parts manufacturing.
• Assign daily duties to team members and ensure standard work.
• Provide input on staffing, overtime, shortages, tooling, quality and productivity.
