Island Honda in Kahului, HI is seeking a Warranty/Insurance Administrator to prepare warranty repair orders, manage claims, and coordinate technician scheduling. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong communication to ensure compliance with manufacturer policies.

You will be responsible for processing warranty claims, tracking statuses, and maintaining organized records while supporting the service department’s workflow.

Qualifications

• Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work with urgency to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external coordination.
• Basic math skills for calculations on warranty claims and adjustments.
• Proficiency with basic computer software and systems used in warranty processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare warranty repair orders with accuracy and ensure compliance with warranty policies.
• Return improperly completed orders to originator for correction.
• Enter labor operation codes and other required data on repair orders.
• Schedule technicians for hours earned and communicate adjustments to management.
• Monitor warranty claims to avoid duplicates and ensure timely processing.
