Job summary

Great American RV SuperStores seeks a Warranty Clerk to manage the warranty process between service, manufacturers, and customers. You will translate technician notes into valid warranty claims to ensure reimbursement for covered work, while maintaining accurate documentation and timely submissions.

You will review orders, coordinate parts returns, and communicate claim status to service advisors, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction in a busy RV dealership environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; warranty admin training a plus.
  • Prior warranty experience in a dealership preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong computer proficiency and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, flag, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers and third-party providers.
  • Review repair orders to ensure documentation meets warranty standards.
  • Coordinate with Parts Department to tag and return failed parts for reimbursement.
  • Provide updates to Service Advisors on claim status and timelines.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized Warranty Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the key link between our service department, RV manufacturers, and customers, ensuring all warranty claims are processed efficiently, accurately, and in a timely manner. You will translate technician notes into technical claims that meet manufacturer standards, ensuring the dealership is reimbursed for every dollar of covered work performed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, flag, and submit warranty claims to various manufacturers and third-party service contract providers.
  • Review repair orders to ensure proper documentation, parts listings, labor times, and technician notes meet manufacturer warranty standards..
  • Coordinate with the Parts Department to ensure that failed parts are tagged, stored, and returned to the manufacturer as required for reimbursement.
  • Provide updates to Service Advisors regarding claim status so they can keep customers informed on repair timelines.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in warranty administration or customer service is a plus.
  • Prior warranty experience in a dealership is highly preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency and exceptional organizational & multitasking skills is required.
  • Detail-oriented, service-minded, and proactive in their approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods.
