Job summary

Great American RV is seeking an RV Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain recreational vehicles, ensuring safety and reliability for customers. You will estimate job costs and identify parts replacements as needed, while diagnosing issues through testing the RV.

Your work is focused on delivering a safe, functional RV experience, with opportunities for ongoing training and career growth. This full-time role includes Sundays off and pay based on experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; RV repair training preferred.
  • Proven RV Technician experience or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain recreational vehicles to ensure safety and reliability for customers.
  • Present job cost estimates and identify parts replacements as needed.
  • Diagnose problems by analyzing and testing the RV to determine the issue.
  • Ensure RVs are safe and functional for customers.

So, who’s right for the job?

As an RV Technician, you will possess advanced diagnostic and repair skills or have a strong passion for resolving mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and maintenance issues. Your role involves expertly diagnosing problems by analyzing and testing the RV to determine the issue's nature. You will then present job cost estimates and identify any necessary parts replacements to your service writer.

Your primary responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining recreational vehicles to ensure they are safe and functional for our customers. Your expertise will enhance the RV experience for our clients, allowing them to enjoy their adventures to the fullest.

  • Proven experience as an RV Technician or in a similar role.
