Job summary

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) in North Canton, OH is seeking a Warranty Claims Specialist to accurately create, file, and manage the warranty claims process. You will generate and submit claims daily while maintaining ongoing claims and reporting metrics.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years warranty experience, strong communication, and proficient Microsoft Office skills. VMRS knowledge is a plus; onsite role with a focus on timely, accurate processing and collaboration with OE partners and shop

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general warranty experience

• Fast typing speed (40 wpm)
• Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel
• Experience with VMRS codes is preferred

Responsibilities

• Generate and submit warranty claims daily
• Manage ongoing/pending warranty claims
• Allocate packing slips/shipping labels and required information to shop terminals
• Maintain relationships with OEs, suppliers and shop terminals
• Generate weekly and monthly warranty recovery reports
• Assist with special projects
• Improve warranty claims processing procedures
• Distribute weekly warranty updates to maintenance directors, managers and lead technicians
• Escalate pending/ongoing concerns to warranty administrator
• Collaborate with other departments and vendors

Position Summary

This position is responsible for accurately creating, filing & managing the Warranty Claims process.

Essential Functions

• Generate & Submit Warranty claims daily


• Manage ongoing/pending Warranty claims


• Allocate Packing Slips/Shipping labels & Required Information to Shop Terminals


• Maintain a good working relationship with OEs, Suppliers & Shop Terminals


• Generate Weekly/Monthly Warranty Recovery Reports


• Assist with special projects


• Continuously improve Warranty claims processing procedure


• Distribute weekly Warranty updates to Maintenance Directors, Managers & Lead Technicians


• Escalate pending and/or ongoing concerns to Warranty Administrator


• Active cooperation with other essential department members and outside vendors

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Minimum of 2 years of general Warranty experience.


• Excellent Communication skills to strengthen relationships with OEs & Suppliers.


• Exceptional organizational skills; ability to manage workload in a timely manner with minimal supervision.


• Outstanding customer service and follow-up skills.


• Types an average of 40 wpm.


• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook & Excel.


• Prior experience with VMRS codes is preferred.


• Must be dedicated and driven individual.
