Position SummaryThis position is responsible for accurately creating, filing & managing the Warranty Claims process.Essential FunctionsGenerate & Submit Warranty claims dailyManage ongoing/pending Warranty claimsAllocate Packing Slips/Shipping labels & Required Information to Shop TerminalsMaintain a good working relationship with OEs, Suppliers & Shop TerminalsGenerate Weekly/Monthly Warranty Recovery ReportsAssist with special projectsContinuously improve Warranty claims processing procedureDistribute weekly Warranty updates to Maintenance Directors, Managers & Lead TechniciansEscalate pending and/or ongoing concerns to Warranty AdministratorActive cooperation with other essential department members and outside vendorsQualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum of 2 years of general Warranty experience.Excellent Communication skills to strengthen relationships with OEs & Suppliers.Exceptional organizational skills; ability to manage workload in a timely manner with minimal supervision.Outstanding customer service and follow-up skills.Types an average of 40 wpm.Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Outlook & Excel.Prior experience with VMRS codes is preferred.Must be dedicated and driven individual.Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
