Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a Warranty Billing Admin in Decatur, IL for a fully on-site role. The position performs billing, invoicing and collections to secure revenue while coordinating with manufacturers and clients. Strong customer service, communication, and accounting skills are essential.

The role requires at least 2 years of billing experience, high school diploma, and proficiency with Excel. Office hours are in Decatur with weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package offered by the company.

Qualifications

• High school graduate/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of billing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is preferred.
• Team-oriented environment.
• Follow all company procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Process and negotiate new service requests with manufacturers.
• Manage in-progress service requests by communicating with internal partners, clients, and manufacturers for completion per guidelines.
• Process a high volume of invoices for payment per customer contracts and accept incoming payments.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data.
• Audit service tickets and prepare invoices for customers.
• Verify billing accounts with accounts receivable ledger for proper posting.
• Resolve discrepancies and billing issues with clients.
• Generate AR reports and collaborate with manufacturers/clients for resolution.
• Answer customer service calls and enter service/part orders as needed.
• Participate in special projects or assist other departments as needed.
