Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a Warranty Analysis and Resolution Engineer with strong automotive systems expertise to lead warranty failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and corrective actions across powertrain and subsystems.

You will work with quality, manufacturing, service, suppliers and product engineering to reduce warranty costs and improve reliability, reading CAD drawings and test reports, and applying APQP/PPAP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in automotive warranty analysis or failure analysis.
• Strong understanding of automotive mechanical systems and engineering concepts.
• Experience reading CAD drawings and engineering specifications.
• Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform warranty part analysis and failure investigations for returned components.
• Conduct root cause analyses using 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, FMEA, and fault tree methods.
• Support disposition activities including teardown analysis, repairability assessment, and containment actions.
• Collaborate with design, supplier quality, manufacturing, and service teams to drive corrective actions.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs focused on warranty reduction and reliability.
