Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealerships in Massachusetts is seeking a detail oriented Warranty Administrator to join the busy service department. The role involves preparing, submitting and following up on warranty claims and ensuring proper documentation.

Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. You will keep up with factory recalls, coordinate parts shipments, reconcile warranty receivables and maintain service records for warrantors.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software and manufacturer warranty systems.
• Able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, submits and follows up on warranty claims
• Processes all warranty paperwork, ensuring proper documentation and verifies criteria required by factory or distributor
• Keeps current withall factory recalls and announcements
• Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor and resubmits all rejected claims promptly
• Reconciles all warranty receivables and works with the accounting department to obtain payments
• Keeps track of all warranty parts by noting the repair order number, date of replacement and date on which part may be disposed
• Maintains all service and customer records as required by the warrantor
