Job summary

Quirk Auto is seeking an experienced Technician for our busy Service Department in Massachusetts. You will use diagnostic equipment to test components and verify repairs while collaborating with Service Advisors.

You will stay current with recalls and service procedures and provide estimates for additional work. We value motivation, reliability, and a willingness to learn; prior certifications are helpful and compensation is based on experience.

• Experience in managing and organizing work time and activities.
• Strong willingness to learn.
• Previous experience and certifications recommended.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and special service tools to test vehicle components.
• Test-driving vehicles for diagnosis and repair verification.
• Diagnose vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, electrical, air conditioning, etc.
• Provide the Service Advisor with an estimate of any additional repairs needed.
• Stay current with technical bulletins, recalls, service procedures, and new technology.
