Shell Shack Arlington is hiring a Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests, greeting arrivals, managing reservations, and guiding guests from arrival to seating. The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in reservations, and collaboration with servers and managers.

The position involves maintaining a clean host station, coordinating seating, and assisting with guest accommodations in a fast-paced dining setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in host/hostess or customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression.
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the reservation system or seating chart.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.
• Communicate accurately with servers and managers regarding guest needs and table availability.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide restaurant information as needed.
• Assist with special requests such as seating arrangements or guest accommodations.
• Monitor dining room flow and coordinate seating to maximize efficiency.
• Support team members by assisting with service tasks when needed.
