Job summary

Miskiri Hospitality Group is seeking a warm, organized Host/Hostess to greet guests, manage seating and wait times, and keep the front of house running smoothly. This role requires excellent people skills, composure under pressure, and the ability to multitask during busy periods.

No prior experience required; customer service or hospitality experience is a plus. You will answer phone reservations, assist with to-go orders, and collaborate with servers and management to ensure a great guest

Qualifications

• No experience required; customer service or hospitality experience is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong verbal communication.
• Calm, organized, and professional during high-volume periods.
• Able to multitask and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic computer or reservation-system skills or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest promptly and warmly.
• Manage the waitlist and seating chart to balance server sections and maintain efficient table turns.
• Accurately quote wait times and communicate updates to waiting guests.
• Answer the phone professionally, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
• Escort guests to their table, present menus, and communicate any relevant specials to the serving team.
• Coordinate with servers, bussers, and management to ensure tables are cleaned and reset promptly.
• Monitor dining room flow and flag seating or service issues to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area.
• Handle guest concerns or special requests and relay to the appropriate team member.
