Job summary

bp is seeking a Materials Management Advisor to enable efficient storage and forward distribution of materials across the physical supply chain. The role interfaces with internal customers to provide MM strategies and performance metrics within bp’s global operations.

Responsibilities include leading warehousing activities, monitoring costs, and driving continuous improvement through OMS, with travel up to 10% and a hybrid office/remote work setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or related technical discipline.
• Knowledge of warehousing activities and logistics operations.
• Experience with SAP or similar systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehousing operations following bp HSE and policy requirements.
• Ensure cost monitoring and approve warehousing invoices.
• Assess regional warehousing network to optimize storage and costs.
• Drive warehousing strategy improvements and project initiatives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to preserve, maintain and care for materials.
