Job summary

BP is seeking a Materials Management Advisor to optimize storage and distribution of materials in the physical supply chain. The role ensures value delivery to internal customers through service-minded MM strategies and performance indicators, overseeing contracted Warehousing providers and aligning warehousing services with contracts to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Warehousing activities and general logistics operations.
• Understanding of safety risks in warehousing and risk mitigation.
• Ability to influence and collaborate across disciplines and geographies.
• Working knowledge of SAP and software tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehousing operations to comply with bp HSE and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with bp MM processes and policies for warehousing.
• Ensure safe custody and security of materials stored in warehouses and yards.
• Contribute to annual budget planning and monitor warehousing costs.
• Review demand plans and assess regional warehousing networks.
