Job summary

ProSource of New Orleans is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, receiving, staging, and customer pickups. This hands-on leader will work with Account Managers, vendors, and leadership to move materials from receipt through delivery.

The ideal candidate will lead the operations team, ensure safety, improve workflow, and maintain organized, customer-ready facilities while upholding high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, operations, distribution, or inventory-management, with supervisory background.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent organizational, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to inventory accuracy and detail.
• Familiarity with warehouse technology and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and operational activities across receiving, staging, and order preparation.
• Lead, train, schedule, and guide warehouse and operations staff.
• Ensure orders are received, documented, located, staged, and ready as promised.
• Maintain inventory controls, cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Account Managers and vendors to resolve issues.
• Enforce safety practices and forklift procedures.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management for operations staff.
