Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, a family-owned logistics leader since 1924, seeks a full-time Warehouser for our Westfield, MA location. You will load/unload freight, organize shipments, and assist with packing and unpacking while upholding safety and quality.

Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred; candidates must read/write English and be able to lift items over 25 lbs. Join a team focused on service, integrity and helping customers move freight reliably.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior warehousing, freight and/or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using appropriate equipment (carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Pick, pack and stage freight for pickup.
• Physically lift and move boxes.
• Utilize scanners to read, track and monitor freight throughout the warehouse.
• Operate with a customer service first mentality.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including day and night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a full-time Warehouser to join our team in our Westfield, MA location. Our warehouse workers are responsible for safely loading and unloading, organizing, and packing and unpacking freight. Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.

• Earn $20.15 per hour. Rate will increase to $22.20 after 12 months of employment
