Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate in California to support receiving, picking, packing, and shipment processes. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and following established procedures to ensure accuracy and safety.

Training will be provided on day one. Benefits include PTO in compliance with applicable laws. The position is eligible for scheduling based on shifts, with opportunities to grow through cross-training in multiple warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20–30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Follow directions and adjust priorities as needed.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies like computers or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders: pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.

Job description

Pay rate: $22.36 per hour (includes shift differential)

Bonus eligible: No

Benefits: Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws

Shift: Sundays 7:30pm - 4:00am

Remainder of the week, work as many or few hours as you choose based on available shifts up to 29 hours per week.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!
