Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate II to support outbound and inbound activities. The role involves unloading trucks, checking in products, and preparing items for outbound shipment in a distribution environment.

Shifts run Sunday night to Thursday night, 8:00pm–4:30am, with the option to pick up up to 29 hours/week via the Shyft app. Pay rate is $18.85/hour, with PTO benefits and no bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• PIT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to remove pallets from trucks.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products; follow regulations to store refrigerated products if needed.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.

Job description

Shift: Sunday night - Thursday night; 8:00pm – 4:30am. Employee may choose to pick up shifts totaling up to 29 hours/week. Shifts may be selected Sunday – Thursday 8:00pm – 4:30am utilizing the Shyft app (4 hour shifts).

• Training hours will be conducted during night shift hours (1st week)

What Warehouse Operations Contributes To Cardinal Health

Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists in Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards. This job receives products in the Inbound section. As far as the outbound section, this job ships products.

• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.


• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.


• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred


• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
