Job description

We are searching for a Warehouse Associate/Relief Driver to join our growing team. The Warehouse Associate/Relief Driver is responsible for the warehouse by pulling orders, receiving product, putting away product, inventory control, always keeping quality customer service and safety in mind.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Pull orders to be delivered and process orders shipping out via other carriers.
2. Follow all procedures and policies; consistently keep safety as a primary focus on all tasks.
3. Look for ways to improve efficiencies and cost savings; share with manager.
4. Pull and load customer orders from our showroom walk-in trade.
5. Assist with warehouse, warehouse equipment, and building maintenance as needed/scheduled.
6. Assist with inventory control. Ensure you receive and ship product correctly and accurately.
7. Participate in bin location audits, inventory control, cycle counting, and annual physical inventory.
8. Learn to assemble, test, and load/unload equipment/machines.
9. Assist with stocking of product; rotation of product and assist with stocking showroom.
10. Professionally deliver orders to customers when acting as a relief driver. Ability to fill in as a relief driver on short notice. Learn delivery routes. Be flexible and understanding of organizational/customer needs.
11. Adhere to all CDL laws; drive safely and courteously at all times. Work with safety in mind each day.
12. Complete driver log book daily when driving.
13. Assist with snow removal and salting as needed.
14. Attend, participate, and arrive on time to scheduled meetings. Be ready to work at your scheduled start time.
15. Perform miscellaneous tasks and projects as assigned.
16. Maintain confidentiality of KSS and affiliated company’s business-related issues.
17. Complete all HR/OSHA safety training within the provided timelines.
18. Respond timely and utilize communication tools such as voicemail and email effectively.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
3. Experience utilizing material handling equipment.
4. Delivery driver experience.
5. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
6. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings including background check and drug test.
