Job summary

AVI Foodsystems, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Worker to join our distribution team for day shifts. You will participate in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment and inventory control to ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience preferred.
• Great work ethic.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products coming into the warehouse.
• Verify quantity and description of products.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped.
• Stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories.
• Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner.
• Follow proper receiving procedures.
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately fill the role of Part-time Warehouse Worker at our Pittsburgh, PA warehouse. This position will work day-shift.
