Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an energetic Part-time Warehouse Worker for our distribution warehouse. This role supports receiving, packing, stock, and order fulfillment, with a day shift that starts soon.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining accuracy while following safety procedures. Previous large-warehouse experience is preferred; we offer competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of distribution and receiving for the warehouse.
• Receive products; verify quantity and description.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped; stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate inventories and ensure timely distribution and receiving.
• Follow receiving procedures and AVI policies; report safety or security concerns.

Duties & Responsibilities

Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouseReceive products coming into the warehouseVerify quantity and description of productsAssemble and fill orders to be shippedStock incoming ordersMaintain accurate physical inventoriesEnsure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly mannerFollow proper receiving proceduresComply with all AVI policies and procedures including but not limited to security proceduresCommunicate any issues of concern to management ie cleanliness safety concerns or security concerns
