Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to join our distribution team. The role involves receiving, stocking, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced food service environment.

This position runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7am to 3pm. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, work at a steady pace, and adapt to temperature variations. We offer a family culture, competitive pay, and strong training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in large food warehouse is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multitask.
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
