Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic team member for a part-time Warehouse Worker role in Ohio. The position requires availability on Saturdays, and offers a friendly, fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth.

You will participate in receiving, stocking, order filling, and inventory control to support daily distribution. Candidates should have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs while standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Receive products and verify quantities and descriptions.
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped and stock incoming orders.
• Maintain accurate inventories and ensure timely distribution and receiving.
• Follow receiving procedures and AVI policies; report safety or cleanliness concerns.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
