Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Lebanon, TN to join a safety-focused team. Great attitude and willingness to learn are valued as you operate forklift and warehouse equipment and participate in order packing and shipping processes. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with overtime and Saturday availability.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Operate printing machines and assemble components.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
