Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑conscious team in Ohio. The role emphasizes accurate picking/packing, proper handling of inbound freight, and adherence to safety standards.

A strong emphasis on attendance, independence, and ability to multitask is required. Eligible candidates will have forklift experience and a high school diploma or equivalent, with willingness to work a 3:30pm–12:00am schedule and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Preference given to applicants with prior forklift experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, manage time and stay organized.
• Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick/pack parts accurately and prevent damage.
• Place inbound freight physically and systematically.
• Report discrepancies and variances in inventory.
• Locate misclassified inventory and escalate issues to supervisor.
• Operate Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker/Stock Chaser where required.
• Follow all safety requirements and keep work area clean and safe.
• Stage and sort products for loading and open/close dock doors.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Opens and closes dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Scanning & counting parts.
• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Pay Rate: $21.12 + $1 shift differential

• Monday – Friday: 3:30pm – 12:00am
• Occasional Saturdays and OT as required

Job Responsibilities

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage – at times process may deviate
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight – at times process may deviate
• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product
• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Have the ability to operate the following pieces of equipment: Reach Truck Operator, Pallet Jack (electrical or manual), Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading

• Maintain a clean and safe work area
